Dec. 13th, 2019 10:44 pmI did not expect to be stress-knitting during the last book of the Aeneid (audiobook, hence the multitasking), but it turned very weirdly intense and ended abruptly.
I really haven't spent enough time with Virgil to be able to offer thoughts or commentary on it, but it's a very interesting mythology and I should learn more about it when I next get seized up by the Classics Monster.
Also, I only need to knit a few more inches and then I will have my third poorly-knit scarf! (I don't know what I'm going to do with these things. Also I need to attempt branching out into different types of things that don't take as long/aren't as boring to make.)
Anyway. It was a sort of weird way to spend a Friday night, but also more purposeful than my Friday nights usually are, so that's good I guess!
