Gratitude Journal: 3/26/2020
Mar. 26th, 2020 07:19 pm1. I am at my dad's house, which is empty except for the two best cats ever. I love them and they love me, and I have space from other humans. (The downside to this is that I did get blanket permission from my dad to come here while he was away, but I didn't check in with them about this specific time, and I'm sure that my stepmom would be very bothered by the thought that I didn't check in with them despite the fact that she's not here. Sigh... family. But it's worth it.)
2. Had a half-hour Zoom chat with my coworker friend, which bloomed into an hour, and I got to show her the cats and we both got to decompress from... you know, all this.
3. SERIOUSLY being alone is so nice honestly. I feel like I can breathe again. I think I'll get lonely eventually, but then I can go back and this is closer and easier than my apartment, and there are cats, which my place lacks. I'll just reset and then I can go back in time for our next tea over the weekend. :)
4. Perfect little white paws and little pointy faces that nuzzle against my chin and loud, loud purring.
