An attention-grabbing effort

to make myself keep Writing Words, though they are also hard. And some fun headcanon in Mirkwood, since I think my longfic set there didn't live up to the spooky potential it could have had. (I know I had to give up and post that story sometime, but I still feel sad about missed opportunities and wasted potential...)
